Castle Howard

About Percy's visit to Castle Howard

Hi! I'm Percy and I just went on a trip to Castle Howard! Firstly, we went into the walled gardens where we ran away from our Grandad - it was very funny. I was on lookout as you can see in the picture (can you spot me?). After that, I was climbing on a bush when I had my picture taken - I look very handsome, don't you think? We walked round the lake nearby and then we went across the large rope bridge to get to my favourite place in Castle Howard, Skelf Island!

Our favourite things

Some of my favourite things were going to Skelf Island because it is very fun there and it is a great place to hide from Aunty Sophie! Also, I thought that all of the flowers and plants in the walled garden were very handsome like me, that's why I blend in well in the picture!

What could be better?

I think that the weather could have been a bit better because even though it didn't rain, the floor was still a bit wet which meant that we couldn't have gone into Ray Wood without getting remarkably muddy!
